Home → Guides :: Worldox GX4 Troubleshooting → Integration with Outlook → Outlook - Sent Email Integration pops for Internal Users
When you send an email to another user within your firm, the Worldox Sent Message dialog pops:
When you send an email message, Worldox looks at the properties of that email message to process it through a number of rules to determine whether Send To Integration will apply. In most cases, you do not want Worldox integration to trigger for emails you send only to internal users.
So, how does Worldox determine that that you are sending is to an internal or an external email address?
In most cases, Outlook includes a piece of text ("/O) in the SENT_REPRESENTING_EMAIL_ADDRESS and the SENDER_EMAIL_ADDRESS properties.
Tip:Â See instructions entitled Accessing Outlook Email Properties below for further information
Worldox includes a default rule to handle this scenario. That rule is set up like this:
In some scenarios, Outlook does *not* include this text. This means that we must include a different rule. Â
If Worldox does not find a /O in either of those properties, you will need to create a generic rule that contains a portion of the properties:
In the example above, you would create a generic rule like:
*@trumpetinc.com
To learn how to add or create a generic rule, please see:Â Email Rules
To Access an Email's properties in Worldox:
