Background

The Assemblage Emailer Tool can either use a globally defined mail server configuration settings when sending emails, or can use your instance of Outlook.  These instructions apply to those firms who wish to integrate with Outlook.

Configuring the Globally defined configuration settings:

This configuration is available from the main Assemblage application, Tools->Preferences, Email, or in the Emailer tool directly.  You can access a shortcut to the emailer tool under "Tools -> Preferences" in the Emailer tool directly.

Change the 'Send strategy' to Outlook

Advanced Setup

If you wish Assemblage to send from a specific Outlook mailbox, put the name of the mailbox into the Mailbox name field.  The value must be one of the values listed in the Available mailboxes note.

Testing

It is very important to click the Send Test Email button and confirm that you get a green checkmark.  You should also confirm that the recipient (To address) receives the test email.
