Clicking Browse... in Internet Explorer 7 or above brings up the native file selection dialog instead of Worldox

Resolution

There are several causes of this problem - the following describe the issue, and resolution

Protected Mode

If Internet Explorer is running in Protected Mode, IE runs in a separate process space than the rest of your computer, so Worldox is not able to integrate with it.

To disable Protected Mode in IE:

1. Tools->Internet Options
2. Security
3. Select the Internet zone
4. UNcheck the Enable Protected Mode checkbox
5. Close and re-open Internet Explorer

64 Bit Internet Explorer

Worldox is a 32 bit application, and cannot integrate with 64 bit applications.  Use the 32 bit version of IE if you want Worldox to integrate with it.  We generally recommend disabling the 64 bit version of IE as there are no compelling reasons to use 64 bit over 32 bit versions (64 bit takes more memory and is slower).

To tell if your IE is running as a 64 bit version, open the About screen and look to see if it says "64 bit":
