10.24. Axys Scripter Output pdf not found after running script

Symptoms:

After running your Scripter configuration you receive a Files Not Processed box letting you know that "X files were not processed. See the logs for error information"

When you check the logs you see the following error:

Output PDF file C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\assemblage\axysRunner\MACRONAME.pdf not found after running script. This may be because Axys didn't run the report properly, or Axys may have the $pathpdf variable set. If $pathpdf is set, clear it, then try again

Background:

The Scripter runs an Axys Command line to run the macro and print out the report. When the error above it hit it is because part of the creation/output process did not function as the command line tried to run.

Troubleshooting:

1.  In Axys Network settings make sure that there is not a variable for $pathpdf
2. Test running the Macro in Axys
3. Test the Adobe PDF print driver by printing to a pdf from a program like Word
4. Verify the Adobe Trust settings per Adobes guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/security-warning-postscript-pdf.html
5. Turn Off Adobe preview after printing setting
6. Run the Elevated Scripter
7. Copy the Command line from the Scripter Log and run it in a Windows Command prompt
8. Remove the "-u" from the Axys command line i.e. X:\axys3\rep32.exe -macro -vf -pw-123
