HomeGuides :: Worldox GX4 TroubleshootingIntegration with JunxureJunxure - Next Action Integration

7.1. Junxure - Next Action Integration

Problem:

When you try to attach a file already saved to Worldox to a Junxure action, Worldox doesn't pop, or when you try to save a merge form template from Junxure Worldox doesn't pop.

First possible reason this is occurring:

Junxure is running as an administrator.  You can check this by looking at the properties of the Junxure icon under the 'Compatibility' tab -

Resolution:

Uncheck the 'Run this program as administrator' selection and restart Junxure.

Second possible reason this is occurring:

By default Junxure will run as a 64-bit application if it is installed on a workstation with a 64-bit operating system.  Worldox runs as a 32-bit application.  Since the two are running differently they cannot integrate with one another.

You can check to see if your workstation has a 64-bit operating system, Select "Start" and right click on the "Computer" icon.

Resolution:

Virtuoso (Version 4.0.49 or higher) has a special setting to force Junxure to run as a 32-bit application on your workstation.

Here's how to resolve:

  • Close Junxure
  • Close Virtuoso
  • Navigate to X:\Trumpet\Virtuoso\Mirror and double click on the VirtuosoWorkstationSetup*.exe file (where "X" is the network drive where Virtuoso is installed on your network)
  • Run the installer accepting all default
  • Launch Junxure

Note:  Junxure must be closed prior to installing the Virtuoso workstation in order to make this change.

You can tell Junxure is running as 32-bit application by looking at the processes tab in Task Manager.  If it's running as a 32 bit application, it will have an *32 beside the Junxure.exe entry.
