Worldox Web 3.0 and New Email Engine System Requirements

Both Worldox Web 3.0 and the new Email Engine require at least the GX4 WDU14 release. WDU15 was posted in October, though, so you may wish to update Worldox to the latest revision before adding these new products.

These are the system requirements you need to have in place in order to be able to install these components:

Worldox Web 3.0:

• 64 Bit Windows Server 2012 R2 or Higher running IIS
• Full time broadband Internet connection
• Static IP address with a corresponding hostname 
• TCP Port 443 needs to be open for incoming to the Primary Server. Have your SSL certificate available prior to beginning the installation process. (If you are not using SSL, this would be port 80, but of course this is not recommended unless you require the launch of a VPN prior to accessing Worldox Web 3.0 or the iOS app.)  
• TCP Port 5008 and 5001 need to be open for incoming to the Primary Server from the Proxy Server. 
• Windows 10 (x64 required) workstation to serve as a Worldox Proxy Server. That machine should be a quad core CPU and have at least 8 GB of RAM.

Note:  The "Home" versions of Windows are not supported

*Email Service Exchange Agent*:

• Windows 10, 64-bit only
• .NET Framework 4.7
• Worldox Client installed
• Exchange 2013 CU17 or Exchange 2016 CU6, both with EWS

*Email Service Workstation Agent*:

• Windows 10, 32-bit or 64-bit
• .NET Framework 4.7
• Outlook 2013 32-bit or Outlook 2016 32-bit or 64-bit

*It is not required that the new Email Agent be installed at all. It is an add-on that can be installed whenever the customer is ready, if ever. *

While Worldox Web will be free of charge for Worldox Professional and Enterprise customers who install it on premises and for Worldox Cloud customers, Worldox Professional and Enterprise customers who prefer that Worldox host Worldox Web will still be offered the Worldox Connect bundle that includes Hosted Worldox Web at the current cost.
